  1. Kia Ora Billie-Jean,

My name is Rachel and I am working with the Summer Learning Journey blogging programme this year. It is wonderful to see that you have joined us and created such a cool looking beast. I loved reading about your creature and I must admit that I am now wondering who the one person is who has seen the long-eared girfar in real life. That must have been a pretty amazing sight!

Thanks for sharing your creativity with us, Billie-Jean! Did you take you a long time to come up with your creature? What, if anything, inspired you to create the girfar? I'd love to know more about it, if you have time to write back!

In the meantime, I hope that you are having a wonderful start to 2019. Our team will pop back soon to check your blog and see if you've had any time to continue your learning journey this month. The programme is open every day until Friday 25 January 2019. Feel free to hop on and blog with us any time!

    Bye for now,

    Rachel :)

  2. Hey Billie! I have just transferred your blog over to my class admin and I thought I would check out what you have been doing over the holidays. Your beast looks pretty epic! Imagine if they actually roamed the earth!
I am really looking forward to having you in my class this year and I hope you are ready to step up into the Totara Hub! How are you feeling about your mum working here at school? I think it's pretty cool! Anyway, I'll see you tomorrow (or should I not remind you??!)

  3. Hello Billie!
    What a great blog post!
Wow I can't believe that only one person in the world has ever seen this animal!

Did You read a story about this creature?

Next time you should put a colourful border around the sides so it can stand out or make the background rainbow.

    Bye for now!
    -Bailee
